Just finished the Eastern Caribbean 7 night Cruise with our 13 month old. We had a regular ocean view room on the Harmony of the Seas.
Brought our dock a tot for her to sleep in between us in the bed.
Used magnetic hooks to hang wet clothes.
We took our running stroller, which I loved having. I ran with my baby every day. It wouldn’t fit in the door while open (1/2 inch to big)- if she was napping we would just prop the door open with the stroller while we got ready or whatever we needed. I was worried about getting dirty looks for having my bulky jogging stroller but I didn’t notice any dirty looks at all. Everyone was happy to see a sleeping baby.
We also brought a potable white noise maker & a snooze shade from amazon. They helped so much. The baby slept in the stroller through all our night time shows & activities.
Royal Babies and Tots program: It worked out great until our baby got bronchiolitis. Then we kept her with us.
Doctor on ship: Had to see the doctor since our baby got bronchiolitis. Her symptoms where fever >48 hours, cough, & then later wheezing while crying. She got steroids & we had to buy more Tylenol for $7 on board because we ran out for her fever. Our bill was $150 for everything, which isn’t bad considering they don’t take any insurance.
Play: Our baby loved the open play area & the splash pad for babies in diapers. We also brought an inflatable pool for the labadee beach & some small beach toys.
St Maarten excursion: We did the airplane & snorkel excursion through RC. We brought our baby inner tube & life jacket (I think they had baby life jackets there also). She loved swimming in the water with us.
The long dinners in the MDR & speciality restaurants were tough, but overall we had a great experience. The staff was awesome with her & very friendly.
Found this group very helpful. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
